Job summary

Swan Global seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for a major WWTP project in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on detailed electrical design for industrial water treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with IEC/IEEE standards, Ashghal guidelines, and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Electrical Detail Engineering for large industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in electrical design software and in-depth knowledge of international codes/standards.

Responsibilities

• Detail Engineering for all electrical systems of the project.
• Design and prepare drawings/schematics for power distribution, substation layouts, cable routing and MCCs.
• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets and MTOs for electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Civil for integrated design.
• Review vendor drawings and provide technical approvals; support procurement and construction.
