Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar seeks an Electrical Facilities Engineer to manage the installation, maintenance, and reliable operation of all electrical systems within the facilities, including power distribution, lighting, security systems, and emergency power infrastructure.

Responsibilities include overseeing electrical equipment operation, managing UPS/generators/ATS, ensuring safety, and maintaining up-to-date schematics and load schedules with strict code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience with electrical systems in large facilities.
• PE license or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, operation, maintenance of electrical systems in facilities.
• Manage UPS, generators, ATS and fuel systems for 24/7 reliability.
• Maintain lighting systems and controls, exploring energy-efficient solutions.
• Plan electrical infrastructure projects and power hookups for renovations.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, local codes and safety protocols.
• Maintain electrical schematics, load schedules and maintenance records.
