Nasser Al Jaber Group is seeking an Environmental Engineer for on-site assignment in Al Wakrah, Qatar. You will prepare monthly environmental and sustainability reports, conduct site inspections, monitor dust and noise, and coordinate with subcontractors to verify environmental data.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field, 5–8 years of site-based experience, knowledge of Qatar regulations and ISO 14001:2015, and an ability to implement CEMP and manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Typically 5–8 years of relevant site-based environmental experience.
• Knowledge of Qatar environmental legislation, MECC permit requirements, and PWA/Ashghal specifications.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly environmental and sustainability reports, including ESMR, CMRT, dust-control reports, and EMPS.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to collect, verify, and consolidate environmental data.
• Conduct daily site inspections and monthly subcontractor environmental audits; track findings through to closure.
• Carry out dust and noise monitoring using calibrated equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Manage SORs and NCRs, and coordinate corrective actions with project stakeholders.
• Monitor waste segregation, storage, transport, and disposal, including WTN documentation.
• Support CEMP implementation, environmental training and Toolbox Talks, and compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain environmental records and present performance updates in management review meetings.
• Monitor GSAS Construction Phase requirements and coordinate with GORD where applicable.
