Al-Rayyan Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Librarian to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. You will help patrons, organize materials, and support research inquiries in a welcoming environment.

This role is ideal for freshers with limited experience. We welcome applicants of all nationalities and provide visa sponsorship for non-Qatari candidates; accommodation is not included. A bachelor’s degree in Library Science is required, and strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
Excellent English communication; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

Assist patrons with locating and checking out materials.
Organize and shelve library materials according to established systems.
Maintain accurate records of library inventory.
Answer reference questions and provide research assistance to patrons.
Plan and conduct library programs and events.
Create displays and promote library resources to increase usage.
Keep up-to-date with new technologies, trends, and resources in the field of librarianship.
