Job summary

SILVER HOME is seeking an Elv Supervisor to lead on-site ELV installations in Doha, Qatar. You will coordinate installation and commissioning of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and data networks, supervising technicians and subcontractors to meet project timelines.

The role requires strong knowledge of ELV systems, ability to read drawings, and ensuring safety standards and QA procedures are followed on site, with clear reporting to project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, public address, data and communication networks) and their installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience supervising site activities, coordinating technicians and subcontractors, and managing daily work plans for ELV projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, and to collaborate with engineers on design and implementation details.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting ELV system faults, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards, local building codes, and quality assurance procedures related to ELV and electrical works.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills for preparing reports, maintaining records, and tracking materials and tools.
• Previous experience in construction or facilities projects in the Middle East or similar environments is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, and adapt to a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
