Job summary

Aspetar in Qatar seeks a Manager of Performance Medicine to lead integrated medical and performance therapy services for elite track and field athletes, overseeing health, injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance optimization across disciplines.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team of sports physicians, physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, sports scientists and coaches, embedding evidence-based practices and governance to help athletes achieve peak performance while

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 to 15 years of professional related experience, including 4 to 7 years in a similar role or responsibility, preferably within the same industry.
• Desirable: Additional certifications in Strength & Conditioning, Sports Science, or Performance Analysis.
• Experience working with national teams, Olympic programs, or professional sports organizations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Vision duties: develop and implement a strategic roadmap for performance medicine and lead medical policies and protocols.
• Clinical and Performance Oversight: manage athlete health programs, screening, monitoring, and return-to-play processes.
• Governance and Collaboration: develop medical governance frameworks and ensure anti-doping compliance.
