Job summary

Dynamic Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Shutdown Electrical Engineer for high-stakes turnaround projects in the oil and gas sector in Qatar. The role requires leading electrical maintenance, coordinating removals, reinstallations, and testing, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in TA and a background in UPS, motors, dampers, MOVs, and flares; a degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Qatar-based opportunity with onsite work expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Turnaround works as a Shutdown Engineer.
• Independent handling of at least 5 turnaround projects as Shutdown Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in maintenance of UPS, battery chargers, relay testing and calibration.
• Experience in removal, maintenance and reinstall of electrical motors and blowers.
• Experience in removal, maintenance and reinstall of dampers and actuators.
• Experience in removal, maintenance, reinstall and testing of MOVs.
• Experience in removal, maintenance and reinstall of AWL lights in flares.

Responsibilities

• Role includes turnaround engineering responsibilities for TA projects.
• Manage shutdown electrical maintenance activities end-to-end.
• Coordinate removal, maintenance and reinstall of electrical equipment.
• Oversee testing and calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Ensure safe and compliant execution of all electrical works during shutdowns.
