Job summary

QatarEnergy Qatarization seeks a seasoned Turnaround Planner to steward the overall turnaround plan, milestones, and success criteria, ensuring accurate scoping and resourcing. The role requires deep knowledge of Primavera/MS Project, SAP PM/MM, and maintenance of static equipment in refinery-like environments.

Job description

Primary Purpose of the Job

Custodian of the overall turnaround plan with agreed turnaround strategy, milestones, and success criteria ensuring that all turnaround related activities have been accurately scoped, correctly resourced and that all required materials to address turnaround activities are available to meet scheduled targets.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 10 years maintenance experience in Oil/Gas/Refinery or Petrochemical Industry and performed minimum 4 Turnarounds /major shutdowns in planning role.
• Strong knowledge in turnaround planning and scheduling software tool such as Primavera, MS Project, etc.
• Strong experience in maintenance of static equipment within Refinery RFCC/Crude/Utilities plant, familiar with heavy lifting/rigging plans, risk assessment, and safety requirements (Job Hazard Analysis, Rescue plans).
• Familiar with Maintenance Management Solutions / Programs such as SAP S4/Hana. Strong working knowledge of SAP PM/MM modules.
• Strong analytical and detail oriented.
• Proficient in planning & scheduling concepts and hands on experience in Primavera Project Planner, Microsoft Project, etc.
• Experienced in project management and preferred to be certified in Project Management Professional.
• Very Good command of English (both spoken and written) with report writing skills.
• Experience in working with multi disciplines and multi-cultural environment.
• Sound knowledge of HSE.

Educational Qualifications

B.S. Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
