Job summary

STARLINK QATAR is seeking an experienced eHealth Technology Systems and Solutions Expert (Expert/Lead) to join a national eHealth programme. You will own the technology direction, resource planning, and architecture governance, coordinating across vendors to implement and operate national eHealth solutions reliably and securely.

The role demands 15+ years of IT experience with at least 10 years in management, a strong background in healthcare IT, and proven ability to lead cross-system,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in management or tech leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, CS, CS Engineering or related; master's preferred.
• Healthcare IT or national digital-health programmes leadership across multiple systems/vendors.
• Experience with technology-resource planning, architecture review, integration oversight, SLAs and executive reporting.
• Experience assessing systems and coordinating integration of clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology direction, resource planning, architecture governance and cross-vendor delivery for national eHealth solutions.
• Lead delivery to ensure reliable, secure, scalable operation across vendors.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced eHealth Technology Systems and Solutions Expert (Expert / Lead) to join a national eHealth programme.

THE ROLE

Own the technology direction, resource planning, architecture governance and cross-vendor delivery required to implement and operate national eHealth solutions reliably, securely and at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 15+ years of IT experience, including at least 10 years in management or technology leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline; master’s preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership of healthcare IT or national digital-health programmes covering multiple systems, organisations and vendors.
• Evidence of technology-resource planning, architecture review, integration oversight, service levels, risk management and executive reporting.
• Experience assessing systems, identifying improvement opportunities and coordinating implementation or integration of clinical systems.

KEY SKILLS

• Healthcare enterprise architecture and solution governance
• National HIE, EMR/HIS, e-prescribing, registries, identity, analytics and data-platform awareness
• Integration engines, APIs, cloud, infrastructure and non-production/production environments
• Information-security policy, availability, confidentiality, integrity and SLA governance
• Vendor and contract management; RFPs, technical evaluations and implementation assurance

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with national-scale digital-health programmes
