Job summary

Starlink Qatar is seeking an experienced Data Governance (Privacy and Security) Expert to join a large-scale eHealth programme in Doha. You will lead privacy governance for health data, ensuring PHI and PII are discovered, classified, protected and processed in line with laws, contracts and organisational risk appetite.

The role requires expertise in privacy, cybersecurity, data protection laws, and cloud tooling (Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in data privacy, data-protection compliance or a closely related field.
• Expertise in local and global privacy, cybersecurity and data-protection laws and frameworks.
• Cloud knowledge, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience establishing privacy governance, conducting privacy impact assessments and remediating compliance gaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy and security governance for health data across the eHealth programme.
• Ensure PHI/PII are discovered, classified, protected and processed per policy and law.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remediate compliance gaps and manage risk.

THE ROLE

Lead privacy and security governance for health data, ensuring that PHI and PII are discovered, classified, protected and processed in accordance with law, policy, contracts and organisational risk appetite.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in data privacy, data-protection compliance or a closely related field.
• Expertise in local and global privacy, cybersecurity and data-protection laws and frameworks.
• Cloud knowledge, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience establishing privacy governance, conducting privacy impact assessments and remediating compliance gaps.

KEY SKILLS

• Privacy governance, accountability and operating models
