Job summary

KEO International Consultants is seeking a seasoned Road Engineer in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on supporting the Client’s Roads Operation and Maintenance Division with expertise in road networks and asset management.

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and proven ability to manage contractors and teams on maintenance contracts within a structured governance framework.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in road networks and maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of road assets is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of road assets including asphalt works, lighting, barriers, signs and structures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and contractors to execute road maintenance activities.
• Plan and program operation and maintenance of road assets across the network.
• Review tender documents and develop scopes of works for maintenance contracts.
• Prepare cost estimates for maintenance contracts and provide recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with EAMS processes and contract requirements.
• Support project teams to upgrade and maintain roads according to technical standards.
