The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry, have at least two years of experience, and possess a valid Qatar Council of Health Specialties license. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for educating patients and monitoring conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field.
• At least two years of experience as an Optometrist.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Valid license to practice optometry issued by Qatar Council of Health Specialties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
• Diagnose ocular conditions or diseases and provide appropriate treatment options.
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses, taking into account patient lifestyle, work environment, and visual demands.
• Educate patients on proper vision care, eye health topics, and corrective lens use.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing eye conditions such as glaucoma.
