Job summary

GulfDesign UAE in Doha is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our operations team. You will install, maintain and repair instruments, read schematics, and work with control systems to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

The role requires at least 2 years of industrial experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in confined spaces. We offer a competitive salary, accommodation, and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of various types of instruments and control systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters and level indicators.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any malfunctions or defects.
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
