Job summary

SSC Egypt in Doha, Qatar is seeking a qualified Procurement Officer to join our team. The role focuses on sourcing local and international suppliers, evaluating quotations, and issuing purchase orders with proper approvals.

You will negotiate prices and delivery terms, follow up on orders, and coordinate shipping and import documentation while maintaining supplier records and procurement reports.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in spare parts, heavy equipment, machinery or industrial products preferred.
• SAP Business One or other ERP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle local and international sourcing activities
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate approvals
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate shipping, logistics, and import documentation
• Maintain supplier records and procurement reports
• Work closely with the sales, warehouse, finance, and management teams
