Job summary

Al-Fereej Consultancy & Designs in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Civil Supervision Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. Qualifications

• Only UPDA Certified
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 5 - 7 years of experience in Civil Engineering
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and site supervision practices
• Experience in supervising civil construction works and ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with relevant engineering and project management software
• Skilled in conducting site inspections, monitoring construction quality, and ensuring compliance with technical standards
• Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, structural works, infrastructure, and finishing works
• Familiarity with Qatar construction standards, regulations, and authority requirements
• Knowledge of local and international civil engineering standards and codes is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, coordination, and project management skills
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• Relevant work experience in construction, consultancy, or supervision projects is preferred
• Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate civil construction activities on site
• Review technical drawings and documents for compliance
• Monitor progress and ensure project schedules are met
• Conduct site inspections for quality, safety, and standards
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project teams
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly
