Job summary

arkan marketing services is seeking an analytical Inventory Planning & Analytics Specialist to translate inventory, sales, and purchasing data into clear recommendations for stock availability and purchasing decisions across Qatar and Dubai.

You will monitor stock by SKU, size, colour, and location, analyze ERP and Shopify data, and develop forecasts, reorder points, and safety stock in collaboration with Procurement and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of practical experience in inventory planning, demand planning, replenishment, or retail analytics.
• Experience in fashion retail, e-commerce, general retail, or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, reorder points, safety stock, stock coverage, sell-through, and inventory turnover.
• Experience analyzing inventory and recommending quantities by SKU, size, colour, and location.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS.
• Experience with ERP systems and Shopify or similar platforms.
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Ability to connect inventory analysis with sales performance, margins, and budgets.
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic preferred.
• Based in Qatar, available to join immediately, and able to work full-time on-site in Doha.

Responsibilities

• Monitor available, reserved, and incoming inventory by SKU, size, colour, and location across Qatar and Dubai.
• Analyze Shopify sales and ERP data with purchase orders, transfers, returns, and demand signals.
• Develop demand forecasts, reorder points, safety stock, and stock-coverage targets with Procurement.
• Recommend replenishment quantities using sales velocity, lead times, stock, and planning rules.
• Evaluate stock transfers between Qatar and Dubai before new purchases.
• Monitor sell-through, turnover, stock aging, and days of coverage.
