Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a skilled Directional Driller to support on-site well operations in the Tampa area. The role requires deep drilling expertise and hands-on oversight to ensure accurate data interpretation and safe execution of services.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of Directional Drilling experience, including familiarity with advanced equipment such as rotary steerable systems and steerable motors.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing Directional Drilling Services.
• Two (2) years of experience with adjustable bent housing, steerable electric motor assemblies, rotary steerable systems used on the rig.
• Experience in directional wells from multi-slot offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision resolves issues of reasonably complex scope at the well site.
• Exercises judgment to determine the proper action at the well site based on hands-on experience and training.
• Responsible for understanding and maintaining the operational status of area equipment at the well site and servicing it as needed.
• Performs all service tasks in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE plans, legal conformity requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
• Caries out other related tasks as assigned.
