Job summary

Readiness Management Sup in Qatar seeks an Alternate Electrical Power Production Section Lead to install, operate, and modify electrical power generation plants and related equipment in deployed environments. You will oversee maintenance, inspections, and performance data to ensure reliability and safety.

You must have a high school diploma, 10+ years of experience with engines, generators, and distribution components, and hold a DoD-level security clearance; travel 100% to deployed locations in

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years in operation and maintenance of engines, generators, and distribution components.
• Task-certified 7-Level AAS Power Pro license (or equivalent) required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and U.S. Passport.
• Ability to obtain Qatar residency visa and travel 100% to deployed sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate and modify power generation plants and equipment.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on generators and switchgear.
• Read gauges, logs and instrumentation to ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and document performance data.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Travel to deployed locations in Qatar as required, with DoD Secret clearance.
