Responsibilities

• Always provides courteous, professional service to guests and colleagues.
• Manages guest and associate complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently.
• Maintains positive interactions with guests and teammates.
• Organises and sets up the assigned kitchen section for speed and productivity.
• Ensures dishes are prepared consistently according to standard recipes.
• Assists in guaranteeing culinary standards align with SOPs and policies.
• Monitors food costs and minimizes waste through effective controls.
• Trains kitchen associates in necessary skills for their roles.
• Supports flexibility by working in other kitchen sections when required.
• Maintains sanitation standards across the kitchen.
• Keeps knowledge of all kitchen sections for flexible staffing.
• Ensures proper food storage, rotation and labeling; reports wastage.
• Oversees punctuality and appearance of kitchen staff and enforces grooming rules.
• Participates in ongoing training and coaching of associates.
• Supports Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ values and culture in daily work.
• Ensures compliance with hotel, company, fire and safety regulations.
