University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) invites applications for the position of Dean, College of General Education. The Dean will report to the Vice President, Academics and lead the College’s strategy, planning and academic leadership to advance teaching, research and service.

The role requires a PhD, extensive academic leadership experience, and the ability to foster international accreditation standards while building partnerships within Qatar and globally.

Qualificações

• Earned PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized, accredited institution, and evidence of scholarly, professional achievement sufficient for full Professor.
• Academic leadership with a minimum of ten years of full-time experience in an internationally recognized institution and record of leading applied research.
• Industry experience: minimum of three years in the relevant discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of strategy and plan to ensure the College of Engineering and Technology's success.
• Oversee academic, administrative and financial matters within the College; provide leadership to staff and faculty.
• Develop and implement the College's business plan; align with UDST’s overall strategy through initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with faculty, administrative staff and stakeholders to promote excellence in teaching, research and service.
