Job summary

NeoStats is seeking a Senior Data Science Consultant – Cards Marketing Analytics to join our team in Qatar. You will leverage advanced analytics and predictive modeling to drive marketing strategies for card portfolios, translating insights into actionable plans for clients.

You will build customer segmentations, design test-and-learn frameworks, and collaborate with marketing, product and risk teams to deliver practical, measurable outcomes in a client-facing role.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Senior Data Science Consultant – Cards Marketing Analytics to join our team in Qatar. This role involves leveraging advanced analytics and predictive modeling to drive marketing strategies for credit and debit card portfolios. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in banking analytics, particularly in cards marketing, and will play a pivotal role in delivering actionable insights to client teams.

Responsibilities

• Build predictive models to identify customer targeting opportunities, enhance spend growth, improve retention, and reduce churn.
• Develop customer segmentations for credit and debit card portfolios to support lifecycle marketing, campaign strategy, and personalization.
• Analyze campaign performance across segments, products, channels, and customer behaviors, delivering actionable insights.
• Design test-and-learn frameworks, including control groups, campaign measurement logic, and post-campaign performance reviews.
• Collaborate with client teams to ensure analytical outputs are practical, explainable, and ready for business adoption.

Requirements

• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or analytics consulting.
• Strong banking experience, particularly with credit card and debit card products.
• Proven expertise in marketing analytics, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, campaign analytics, and portfolio analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, SAS, and SQL, with hands-on experience working with large banking datasets, including customer profiles, card transactions, and campaign history.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, model validation, and performance tracking.
• Ability to clearly communicate analytical outputs to business stakeholders and prepare senior-level presentations, reports, and documentation.
• Experience working with marketing, product, risk, and data teams in a banking environment.
• Consulting discipline, including structured problem-solving, ownership, and timely delivery.
• Must be comfortable working as a contractor on a client-facing engagement in Qatar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current location in Qatar.
• Experience in the Qatar or GCC banking market.
• Exposure to card lifecycle analytics, including acquisition, activation, usage, spend growth, retention, and attrition.
• Familiarity with campaign management platforms, CRM systems, or marketing automation tools.
• Experience with A/B testing, uplift modeling, next-best-action, offer optimization, or customer lifetime value models.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics environments.
