Job summary

Snoonu is seeking an experienced data engineer to reinforce day‑to‑day ETL and data infrastructure work. You will integrate new data sources, build real‑time pipelines with an IaC approach, and support the BI team with data quality investigations and warehouse data extraction.

You should be proficient in Python and SQL, comfortable with open‑source tools like dbt and Airflow, and able to collaborate across teams to design scalable, reliable pipelines in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP).

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with batch and streaming ETL pipelines.
• Hands-on with open‑source tools like dbt and Airflow.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data quality.
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP) and Databricks platform knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Integrating new sources using the existing batch and streaming ETL system.
• Creating new real‑time pipelines using an infrastructure‑as‑code approach.
• Supporting the BI team by investigating data quality issues.
• Assisting teams in extracting data from the data warehouse.
• Participating in ETL system migrations for scalable design.
