Job summary

Malomatia seeks an experienced leader to build and scale a Data & AI ProductOps practice within client environments in Qatar. You will drive operating models, governance, and reusable delivery accelerators across Data, BI, ML, GenAI, and Agent-based products.

You will lead architecture workshops, oversee complex production environments, and coordinate with senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Platform and Service Management. Strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Relevant cloud/Data & AI platform, DevOps/MLOps, Service Management certifications are advantageous.
• 10+ years of experience across Data Engineering, AI/ML, DataOps, DevOps, SRE, Product Operations, Platform Engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern enterprise data platforms and production Data/AI solutions.
• Proven track record establishing or leading production operating capabilities for Data and AI products.
• Strong experience in DataOps, MLOps, LLMOps and AgentOps.
• Solid knowledge of operational readiness, observability, SLAs/SLOs, monitoring, incident and problem management, CI/CD, release management, recovery and rollback.
• Experience operating BI/data products, data pipelines, APIs, integrations, ML models, GenAI apps and AI Agents in production.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Data & AI ProductOps practice, including operating model, standards, governance, reusable patterns and implementation approach.
• Define the practice across DataOps, MLOps, LLMOps and AgentOps with clear standards for production Data/BI/ML/GenAI/Agent products.
• Develop reusable ProductOps assets: readiness standards, support models, SLO frameworks, monitoring patterns and playbooks.
• Define and implement operational readiness covering product ownership, criticality, support levels, SLAs/SLOs, monitoring and runbooks.
• Establish L0/L1/L2/L3 support models with automation and self-service.
• Ensure product health/observability across availability, performance and data quality; lead incident investigations and RCA.
• Integrate ProductOps with enterprise ITSM processes; convert recurring issues into permanent improvements.
• Lead regular product operations reviews and drive change/release practices with automated testing, CI/CD and rollback.
