Job summary

EliteHire seeks an experienced Crane Operator to join the team in Al-Khor, Qatar. The role requires operating and maintaining various cranes, lifting, moving, and placing materials while ensuring safety and accuracy on site.

Requirements include 2+ years of crane operation and a valid certification/license. The position is physically demanding, with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator.
• Must have a valid crane operator certification or license.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
• Attention to detail with strong spatial awareness skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at heights if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes.
• Read and interpret load charts to determine the safe lifting capacity of each crane.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any defects or malfunctions.
• Safely lift and move materials according to job site instructions.
• Communicate with ground personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times.
