Job summary

Airswift is seeking a senior Contracts Specialist to manage the EPCI, FEED and Long Lead Item contracts for Offshore Projects in Qatar. You will drive contract strategy, prepare ITTs, review tenders and administer post-award activities, including change orders, claims, and guarantees.

You will work with PMT, EPC contractors and vendors to ensure compliant, timely execution and close-out of multi-billion projects, leveraging SAP and data analytics tools.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in EPC contract management, Oil & Gas preferred.
  • Experience with contract formulation, systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of international standards and procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract administration for Offshore EPCI contracts.
  • Provide contract strategy advice to the Project Management Team.
  • Oversee post-award activities including change orders, claims, and close-out.

Job Purpose
Manage the EPCI, FEED and Long Lead Item (LLI) contract process for Offshore Project from contract strategy workshops, contract type selection, preparation of the ITTs, review and evaluation of tender documents, through to contract award and day-to-day contract administration. Manage all post-award activities not limited to preparation of formal correspondences (i.e., letters), change orders, claims, insurance & guarantees administration. Manage contracts and LLIs from award through to completion.

Job Context
Leads Contract administration of Offshore EPCI Contracts for Jackets Topsides and Pipelines facilities.

  • Provides contract strategy advice to the Project Management Team with respect to contract process, preparation, change order management, claims and final close out.
  • In charge of the contract administration activities of a multi-billion project.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics and Statistics.
Knowledge
  • 8 years of experience in contract management related to EPC contracts including a minimum of 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry and at least 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/ subcontractors/ service/ vendor personnel.
  • Experience in contract formulation activities, systems, and processes across a broad range of Contracts.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, sub contractors, vendors or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge in project business related function/discipline such as planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, claims, management, risk management, change management, procurement, pre- and post award contract management, actionable and informative reporting, support services, lessons learned, etc.
  • Knowledge in international standards, best practices and methodologies as it relates to business disciplines.
  • SME level competence in candidate's specific business discipline.
  • Knowledge of relevant business processes/procedures.
  • Experience with risk assessment approach in decision making.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant software and computer skills, e.g., dashboards, data analytics, SAP, etc.
  • Experience supporting large scale integrated operating and executing organizations, such as Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
