Job summary

India Abroad is seeking an Industrial Engineer for a contract role in Lusail, Qatar. The incumbent will analyze, design, and improve production systems, aiming to boost efficiency and reduce costs while coordinating with procurement, quality control, and logistics teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of industrial engineering experience, strong knowledge of lean principles and process optimization, and familiarity with biometric passport technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, lean principles, and process optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in using biometric passport technology is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Fluency in English is not required but considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Design and implement new systems and processes, ensuring they meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Develop production schedules and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Utilize biometric passport technology to track employee attendance and identify areas for productivity improvement.
• Work closely with other departments such as procurement, quality control, and logistics to streamline operations.
• Provide training to staff on new processes and technologies.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
