Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor for an offshore brownfield project in Qatar. The role oversees site construction, coordinating contractors and workforces to deliver on schedule while ensuring safety and quality across installation, testing and handover activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and proven offshore supervision experience, with strong knowledge of JSA, HSE, and multidisciplinary interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress, identify delays or risks, and implement corrective actions.

• Support project completion, acceptance, and handover activities.

Construction Supervisor (Offshore Brownfield Project)

Job Summary

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing offshore brownfield construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of site works. The role involves supervising contractors and subcontractors, managing schedules and resources, coordinating installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with engineering, quality, and HSE requirements. The position acts as the key on-site focal point for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise offshore construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and approved procedures.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site workforce to achieve project milestones safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
• Monitor construction progress, identify delays or risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, approved methodologies, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) requirements.
• Lead site HSE initiatives, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, operations, and construction teams to resolve technical and execution issues.
• Support project completion, acceptance, and handover activities.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Strong experience in offshore oil & gas construction supervision and EPC project execution.
• Solid knowledge of offshore construction practices, HSE management systems, and JSA preparation.
• Middle East offshore project experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, workforce planning, and construction schedules.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of brownfield offshore projects and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision‑making abilities under pressure.
