Job summary

PeopleStrong in Qatar seeks a Civil Construction Manager with 8–15 years' experience to lead execution of Oil & Gas and Substation projects. You will oversee foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, control buildings, paving, drainage, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs and HSE.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, planning manpower and materials, monitoring progress, submitting DPRs and MPRs, and ensuring safe, cost-effective delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas, Substation, or EPC construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, quality procedures, and project execution requirements.
• Experience in material reconciliation, resource planning, and project reporting.
• Familiarity with RFI, ITP, Method Statements, and project quality systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all civil construction activities for Oil & Gas and Substation projects.
• Ensure construction activities are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones and schedules.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure smooth execution and efficient resource utilization.
• Supervise civil works including foundations, equipment foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, control buildings, paving, drainage systems, retaining structures, and associated infrastructure.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, and technical documents prior to execution.
• Coordinate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical queries and site issues.
