The Ned Doha is seeking a knowledgeable Coffee Sommelier to elevate our luxury coffee offering. You will curate experiences, share expertise on origins, roasting, brewing, and flavor profiles, and tailor pairings to guest preferences.

The Role:

We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Coffee Sommelier to join our team and elevate our coffee offering to exceptional standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Curate and deliver exceptional coffee experiences for our guests. Demonstrate expert knowledge of coffee origins, roasting methods, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles. Recommend coffee selections and pairings tailored to guest preferences. Ensure the highest standards of coffee preparation, presentation, and service. Support the development of coffee menus and seasonal offerings. Train and inspire team members on coffee knowledge, brewing techniques, and service standards. Monitor quality control and maintain consistency across all coffee offerings. Stay up to date with industry trends, innovations, and emerging coffee experiences.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Coffee Sommelier, Head Barista, Coffee Specialist, or in a similar specialty coffee role. Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, brewing methods, coffee sourcing, and sensory evaluation. Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. Excellent communication and storytelling skills. A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude. Experience within luxury hospitality, fine dining, or premium café concepts is highly desirable. Professional coffee certifications are an advantage.
