Job summary

Malomatia in Qatar seeks a senior cloud/architecture governance leader to define, review, and govern the architecture of hybrid and cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. You will lead the architectural design process, oversee deployments, and ensure security, performance, and compliance standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-500, SC-100.
• Google Cloud: Professional Cloud Architect.
• DevOps Engineer Expert or Terraform Associate.
• 12–15 years in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture across Azure, GCP, and on‑prem.
• Strong governance, compliance, and architecture review experience.
• Hands-on IAM, Entra ID, Office 365, and hybrid identity design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture principles, patterns, and reference models for cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Review and validate solution designs for enterprise alignment.
• Provide technical oversight during implementation and deployment phases.
• Evaluate scalability, performance, and security of proposed designs before approval.
• Ensure architecture decisions are documented and traceable to business objectives.
• Review the design of hybrid and multi‑cloud solutions across Azure and GCP.
• Oversee SaaS/PaaS integration following policies and governance.
• Define standards for cost optimization, monitoring, and operational resilience.
• Lead migration and repatriation strategies with validated plans.
• Review IAM architecture covering Azure AD, Entra ID, and hybrid AD.
• Govern Office 365 workloads and security models.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and resilience implementations.
• Review IaC templates (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) for governance and quality.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage project deliveries and approvals.
• Maintain architectural governance frameworks and runbooks.
• Engage stakeholders and mentor technical teams across projects.
• Evaluate new technologies via RFPs and POCs; recommend improvements.
