Gulf Energy Technology and Projects is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5–7 years of oil & gas civil construction experience in Doha. Responsibilities

• Review civil/structural drawings, IFC drawings, specs, and BOQs before execution.
• Prepare RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications.
• Plan, supervise, and monitor civil construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and international standards.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections and approvals.
• Monitor site progress and adherence to schedules.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) prior to project execution.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, and design clarification requests to resolve engineering issues.
• Plan, supervise, and monitor civil construction activities, including excavation, concrete works, foundations, and structural works.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable international standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to arrange inspections and obtain the required approvals before proceeding with subsequent construction activities.
• Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to project schedules, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the site team to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
• Valid UPDA Certification (mandatory).
• Strong ability to interpret civil and structural drawings, IFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and quality control procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in preparing RFIs, technical queries, and engineering documentation.
