Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Data Analyst to optimize our airline's commercial and operational performance, using GCP and Power BI to turn complex aviation data into scalable data products.

You will champion data product management, support advanced analytics delivery, and dataset development, translating business needs into technical specs and driving data-informed decisions across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 4 years in data analytics or related field.
• Experience in a data analytics role focusing on Power BI, SQL and data products.
• Ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights and solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Enable data as a service by creating self-service, reusable data products.
• Bridge business and tech needs into GCP data product specs.
• Advise business units on how to formulate questions and design experiments.
• Support data governance, self-service BI, and data-informed decision making.
• Analyze complex aviation data to uncover trends and insights for leadership.
• Develop dashboards for the Customer Experience department.
• Support the CXBI Manager with portfolio deliverables.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Data Analyst to optimize our airline's commercial and operational performance. In this role, you will champion data product management, support advanced analytics delivery, and support dataset development. You will leverage our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and Power BI environment to turn complex aviation data into scalable, high-impact data products.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable Data as a service: Treat data as a consumable asset, creating self-service, reusable data products for the organization.
• Bridge Business & Tech: Translate needs from business unit need especially in the area of Customer Experience into GCP data product & technical specs.
• Act as Consultant: Advise business units on how to formulate questions, design experiments, and use data to solve operational roadblocks.
• Advocate Strategy: Champion best practices for data governance, self-service BI, and data-informed decision.
• Uncover Trends: Analyze complex data, passenger, and customer journey datasets to drive strategic decisions.
• Support the CXBI Manager in accomplishing deliverables for the assigned portfolio.
• Develop insightful dashboards for the Customer Experience department.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience

Essential

• Experience in a similar role with a focus on Power BI, Alteryx, SQL.
• Experience working in Data Analytics field as data product development or product owner
• Experience in Customer Experience & customer journey area in an airline
• Work experience in managing (processing and analyzing) voluminous data.
• Experience in preparing and giving presentations on business performance to middle and senior management.
• Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving and a capability of working around problems.
