Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Barista, preferably in hotels or established F&B outlets.
• Good knowledge of espresso-based coffee and beverage preparation.
• Experience operating coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages while providing excellent customer service. The role includes operating coffee equipment, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, handling customer orders, and ensuring consistent beverage quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages according to standard recipes.
  
• Take customer orders accurately and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
  
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
  
• Maintain consistent beverage quality, portioning, and presentation standards.
  
• Clean and sanitize coffee machines, equipment, counters, utensils, and work areas regularly.
  
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies and assist with replenishment.
  
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
  
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
  
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista, preferably in 4 or 5-star hotels, cafés, or established F&B outlets.
  
• Good knowledge of espresso-based coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverage preparation.
  
• Experience operating coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
  
• Good knowledge of beverage presentation, equipment cleaning, and hygiene standards.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with good spoken English.
  
• Good grooming, personal hygiene, and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  
• Must have a valid Qatar ID.
  
• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate.
