Job summary

The role requires a Qatar Heavy Equipment Operator License, at least 3 years of hands-on backhoe experience, and the ability to read site drawings, perform pre-operation checks, and maintain equipment logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Qatar Heavy Equipment Operator License (for Backhoe).
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating backhoes on construction projects.
• Knowledge of earthworks, excavation, and ground compaction.
• Basic mechanical understanding of heavy equipment.
• Ability to interpret site drawings and follow precise instructions.
• Physically fit and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe loaders to perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling.
• Load and unload materials, dig trenches, and prepare work areas.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and ensure the backhoe is in good working condition.
• Follow work instructions from the site supervisor and project plan.
• Maintain daily inspection and activity logs.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Report equipment faults, damages, or incidents immediately.
• Assist with minor maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
• Operate in confined areas and around workers with high safety awareness.
