Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators is essential.
• Reading blueprints/plans is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of excavators in a safe manner according to the job requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times while operating machinery.
• Adhere to all job schedules and project timelines.
• Load or unload materials from excavation sites as required.
• Monitor machine performance and complete basic maintenance when necessary.
• Inspect equipment regularly for any signs of damage or faults.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other personnel onsite.
