Job summary

Qatar Airways invites a skilled Business Analyst to join its agile delivery team in Doha. You will drive requirements engineering, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure customer-centered, value-driven solutions for our commercial operations.

You will elicit and document business requirements, engage stakeholders across commercial and IT, analyze processes with BPMN/UML, and contribute to UX design and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, CS, Mathematics, Sciences, Commerce or related major with 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Alternative: High School/Vocational/Diploma with at least 6+ years of job-related experience.
• Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Hands-on experience with agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar frameworks).
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with requirements analysis, process modeling (UML/BPMN), and backlog management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps,Draw.io,Visio).

Responsibilities

• Requirements Management: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with commercial, IT, and external partners to translate needs into requirements.
• Problem Analysis: Identify root causes and facilitate effective solutions using RCA and PFC.
• Process Analysis: Analyze and optimize processes using BPMN and UML modeling.
• Wireframing and User Experience: Define mock-ups and deliver high quality UI UX designs with UX/dev teams.
• Agile Delivery: Participate in agile ceremonies and refine the product backlog.
• Backlog Support: Refine and prioritize the backlog aligned with business goals.
• Quality Assurance: Define acceptance criteria, support UAT, ensure deliverables meet quality.
• Change Enablement: Support change management and post go-live training.
• Continuous Learning: Embrace learning and improvement within the pod.
