Work standard in Al-Rayyan is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for creating authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant and ensuring high standards of quality.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years of experience, knowledge of Indian spices, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Salary is $1700 per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as an Indian Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of traditional Indian spices and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Fluent English communication, verbal and written.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes according to recipes and standards
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Monitor food supplies and place orders when necessary
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization at all times
• Train new kitchen staff on recipes, techniques, and safety procedures
• Collaborate with management to create new menu items and specials
• Regularly taste dishes and adjust seasoning to ensure quality
