A leading engineering services provider is seeking an AUT LVL2 Specialist for a role based in Qatar. The position involves monitoring and inspecting NDT activities on carbon steel girth welds and requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, particularly with the PipeWizard system. The role is primarily offshore, with a small onshore component. Relevant certifications such as Degree in mechanical or materials discipline and offshore medical are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant experience with AUT using PipeWizard system.
• Valid offshore medical and BOSIET certification required.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance of NDT activities on carbon steel girth welds.

Job Description Highlights:

• The position is located at Qatar Offshore and is responsible for surveillance / inspection / monitoring of NDT activities on carbon steel girth welds. Scope includes offshore pipeline installation, verifying compliance with Technical Requirements and Project Specifications, verifying all AUT scans prior to weld being accepted.
• This is an Onshore 10% / Offshore 90% assignment.
• Level 2 in AUT and MUT, MT and ToFD desirable. Degree or associate degree in a related discipline e.g., mechanical or materials. Valid offshore medical and BOSIET.
• 10+ years relevant experience with AUT using PipeWizard system.
