Job summary

RecSeeker is seeking an experienced Audit Manager in Qatar to lead external audit engagements, supervise teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality audit services in line with ISA and IFRS.

The ideal candidate has 15 years of progressive external audit experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial role and Big Four or international network exposure. GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage; fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA qualification is mandatory.
• CA, ACCA, or ACA will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning through completion and reporting.
• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports to ensure ISA/IFRS compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop audit seniors and associates.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout engagements.
• Identify audit risks and recommend practical business solutions.
• Ensure engagements are delivered within budget and agreed timelines.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposals and client presentations.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead external audit engagements, manage client relationships, supervise engagement teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing multiple audit assignments while supporting the continued growth of our Assurance practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements from planning through completion and reporting.


• Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports to ensure compliance with ISA and IFRS.


• Supervise, coach, and develop audit seniors and associates.


• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout engagements.


• Identify audit risks and recommend practical business solutions.


• Ensure engagements are delivered within budget and agreed timelines.


• Participate in business development activities, including proposals and client presentations.


• Maintain compliance with the firm’s quality control policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Additional professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or ACA will be considered an advantage.

Experience

• Approximately 15 years of progressive external audit experience.


• At least 3–5 years in an Audit Manager or Senior Manager capacity.


• Previous experience with a Big Four firm or an internationally recognized audit network is highly preferred.


• Strong exposure to auditing medium and large corporate entities across multiple industries.


• Experience in GCC countries, particularly Qatar, is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and ISA.


• Excellent understanding of risk-based audit methodologies.


• Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office applications.


• Strong analytical, leadership, and project management skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication in English & Arabic.
