Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. in Qatar requires a finance operations professional to manage day-to-day finance activities, including billing, treasury support, and month-end close.

You'll liaise with regional teams and ensure accurate MIS reporting for Qatar operations, with emphasis on process improvements and ERP system proficiency. The role expects 3+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel/Power BI capabilities, and effective communication across ME locations.

Qualifications

• Any other Ad-hoc activity as and when required.

Treasury activity support for Qatar. Liaise with McDermott Global Finance Team and other Functions in Middle East

Responsibilities

• Month end closing and reporting
• Generating QFAB Billing, tracking and associated transactional support
• Support Accounts Payables, cash flow forecast and resolve issues identified
• Internal and External Audit Support
• Assist in preparing MIS Reports related to Qatar Operations (Finance)
• Any other Ad-hoc activity as and when required.

Qualifications

• Graduate/CA/CPA/ACCA – basically some professional qualification to understand accounting implications of actions taken.
• 3 or more years work experience, depending on prior role.
• Comfortable with Information Technology (experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems would be good)
• Agile with a process improvement mindset and experience in driving process improvements
• Clarity in communication as involves extensive interface with people in ME locations – Qatar/DXB/SAR as well as our JV partner Nakilat/QFAB
• Good presentation (Powerpoint) and Excel (expert knowledge of Pivot/Iookups/conditional formulas. Ability to write simple macros/knowledge of Power BI would be a bonus) skills.
• Should be able to multi-task and manage strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM, Planning) and Smartview (good to have, not mandatory)
