Job summary

Path2Success is seeking a diligent F&B Cost Control Assistant in Doha, Qatar. You will support the F&B Cost Controller with calculating costs, tracking price changes, and recommending solutions during shortages. The role involves monthly random inventory, stock trend analysis, and reporting cost savings opportunities.

You will work with the Line Manager and Finance to open new stores, manage opening inventories, and ensure accurate listing of current F&B and retail items in the POS system.

Job description

• Supports the F&B Cost Controller for calculating costs of food and beverage items, to the change in pricing of the menus or change the prices of certain items based on the information they collect, recommends solutions if food or beverage shortages occur
• Monitors conjointly with the F&B Controller the cost controller policies, management plans contracts, recommendation plans.
• Supports the F&B Controller in establishing menu change process and ingredient/recipes adding process. Undertakes physical inventory randomly each month
• Highlights cost saving opportunities. Runs monthly Cost Control audits and reports
• Draws the opening inventory and menu items before any new store opening along with the Line Manager and Finance.
• Performs Stock Variance Analysis, recipes transfer between locations
• Undertakes stock movement/ trend analysis and monitoring of fast-moving consumer goods
• Reports changes in the purchase prices affecting Cost of Sales
• Responsible for POS/ Micros updates to ensure the accurate listing of current food/ beverage/ retail items
