Job summary

Atkins Réalis in Qatar is seeking an Architectural Inspector to oversee architectural and finishing works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, QA/QC standards, and authority requirements.

You will coordinate with MEP, civil, and life-safety teams, maintain inspection records, and help prepare snag lists and close-out documentation while escalating issues to senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in architectural inspection, fit-out, or finishing works.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes, WIR/MIR workflows, and inspection procedures.
• Knowledge of fire-rated systems, finishes, and building materials.
• UPDA certification preferred (Grade A is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Inspect architectural and finishing works including partitions, ceilings, raised floors, doors, fire-rated elements, waterproofing, and façade interfaces.
• Review and respond to WIRs, MIRs, and RFIs within defined timelines.
• Monitor workmanship, finishing quality, and installation practices on site.
• Coordinate with MEP, civil, and life safety teams to resolve interface issues.
• Maintain inspection reports, snag lists, photographic records, and close-out documentation.
• Assist in snagging, punch list preparation, and verification of defect rectification.
• Participate in testing, commissioning readiness, and final handover inspections.
• Escalate quality, safety, and interface concerns to senior engineers and project management.
