Job summary

Confidentiel in Qatar seeks a qualified Architectural Engineer to join our construction team. You will review drawings, specifications and project documents to ensure they meet approved designs and requirements.

You will coordinate with civil, structural, MEP and other engineering teams to resolve design conflicts, supervise on-site finishing works, and ensure QA/QC and safety standards are followed. An architectural engineering bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of construction experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with approved designs and project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and other engineering teams to resolve design conflicts and site issues.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions, and method statements before execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and design clashes encountered during construction.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure architectural activities are completed within the specified timeframe.
• Prepare and maintain inspection requests (WIRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), site reports, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures.
• Monitor and rectify snags and defects, and coordinate final inspections and handover activities.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Architectural Engineer to join our construction team in Qatar.

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects.

• Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and other engineering teams to resolve design conflicts and site issues.
• Supervise architectural construction works, including blockwork, plastering, tiling, flooring, painting, false ceilings, doors, windows, and other finishing works.
• Ensure all architectural works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and Qatar regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, workmanship, and compliance with approved materials and methods.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions, and method statements before execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and design clashes encountered during construction.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure architectural activities are completed within the specified timeframe.

• Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQ verification, variation assessments, and progress measurements when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements during architectural works.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical updates, progress reports, and recommendations to the project manager and consultant.
