Job summary

Client of Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking an experienced Architect with strong QS background to prepare and review BOQs for construction projects. You will take off quantities from drawings, prepare cost estimates, and support budgeting and tendering activities.

Responsibilities include reviewing specifications, identifying material quantities, monitoring costs and variations, and maintaining detailed QS records.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Architect.
• Strong, hands-on Quantity Surveying (QS) experience.
• Proven experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, measurement and valuation, and project commercial activities.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.
• Prepare cost estimates and support budgeting activities.

Prepare and review Bills of Quantities BOQ for construction projects Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings specifications and project documents Prepare cost estimates and support project budgeting activities Review architectural drawings and project specifications to identify material and quantity requirements Monitor project quantities costs variations and commercial requirements Support tendering and estimation activities Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations Assist with cost comparison commercial evaluation and recommendations Monitor project costs against approved budgets Identify variations additional works and potential cost impacts Coordinate with architects engineers contractors consultants and project teams Maintain accurate QS documentation measurement records and commercial reports Provide quantity and cost information to support project decision-making

Requirements
