Job summary

Client of Guildhall is seeking a Senior Tender Lead with a Civil Engineering degree to manage high-value international tenders from Doha, Qatar. You will own BOQ coding, prepare RFQs, and coordinate with contracts to secure fixed-price terms.

You will lead tender teams, present to the Board, and develop bid-winning strategies across live bids, monitoring cost KPIs and margins. GCC project experience and a long-tenured track record with major contractors are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering from a US or UK-accredited university.
• Experience on international prime contractor projects valued at $200m+.
• GCC project experience in major infrastructure or high-rise developments.
• Proven track record leading tender teams and presenting to Board or tender committee.
• Long-tenured career history with recognised construction firms.

• Build bespoke RFQ packages specifications drawings BOQ and contract terms
• Coordinate with contracts teams to secure back-to-back fixed-price terms
• Lead technical and commercial tables of comparison with subcontractors
• Chair subcontractor meetings on scope programme method and contract compliance
• Present weekly tender reports to the Board and final reviews to the tender committee
• Develop and execute bid-winning strategy across live tenders
• Hold cost-per-sqm and unit-rate KPIs to protect winning margins

• Own BOQ coding quantity take-off and full tender preparation in CCS
• Build bespoke RFQ packages specifications drawings BOQ and contract terms
• Coordinate with contracts teams to secure back-to-back fixed-price terms
• Lead technical and commercial tables of comparison with subcontractors
• Chair subcontractor meetings on scope programme method and contract compliance
• Present weekly tender reports to the Board and final reviews to the tender committee
• Develop and execute bid-winning strategy across live tenders
• Hold cost-per-sqm and unit-rate KPIs to protect winning margins
• Own the full top sheet direct and indirect costs risk overhead escalation finance tax
• B.Sc in Civil Engineering from a US or UK accredited university
• Experience at an international prime contractor on projects of $200m+ or more
• GCC project experience across major infrastructure or high-rise developments
• Hands-on BOQ coding in CCS, quantity take-off and RFQ package preparation
• A track record leading tender teams and presenting to Board or tender committee level
• Long-tenured career history with recognised construction firms
