Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha seeks an Analyzer Technician to operate, maintain and troubleshoot a range of on‑line analyzers and equipment. The role includes installation, modification, and routine/major maintenance under guidance from the resident engineer.

You will carry out predictive and preventive checks, perform verification tests, and maintain a detailed maintenance log. A 3‑year diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation/Automation is required, with 6+ years in the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in maintenance of on‑line analyzers in the Oil & Gas industry.
• 3‑year full‑time Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation from a recognized engineering college/university.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work schedules and instructions from the resident engineer/supervisor – analyzers.
• Obtain approved “permit to work,” necessary tools, and spare parts to carry out jobs.
• Ensure all work is completed according to specific instructions, applicable work methods, and QHSE standards.
• Perform routine predictive and preventive maintenance checks on various on‑line analyzers and associated equipment.
• Conduct verification tests and test runs after maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Carry out major shutdown maintenance or engineering work.
• Install new on‑line analyzers and associated equipment as directed.
• Execute equipment and system modifications per instructions from the resident engineer – analyzers.
• Maintain a maintenance logbook, recording details of work carried out/completed including defaults, problems, findings, and equipment/system conditions.
• Comply with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
• Attend HSE meetings and participate in Company QHSE promotional programs.

Experience Required

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in maintenance of on‑line analyzers in the Oil & Gas industry.

Education Qualifications

3‑year full‑time Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation from a recognized engineering college/university.
