Job summary

Adlqatar is seeking a Laboratory Scientist to support ISO 17025 compliant analytical services. You will help develop SOPs, train staff, and perform lab tasks per validated procedures while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Strong English and teamwork are essential, with potential collaboration across sections and ongoing professional development. Minimum 3 years in anti-doping or analytical labs, and a chemistry degree with relevant certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in anti-doping or analytical laboratory environment.
• Certification as a Scientist in at least one laboratory section.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and implement SOPs in line with SOP 003 – Staff Duties and Training.
• Provide training to permanent and temporary staff on SOPs and tasks.
• Perform laboratory activities strictly according to approved SOPs and training.
• Uphold laboratory safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of analytical results and client data.
• Secure all documentation and data in electronic and hardcopy formats.
• Assist daily laboratory operations and ensure equipment readiness.
• Engage in scientific knowledge exchange and stay updated on standards.
