Job summary

AimGulf is seeking an experienced heavy vehicle operator to manage airside sweeping and transport tasks at Doha. You will operate sweepers and water tankers, perform routine inspections, and support daily maintenance operations to ensure safe aircraft movements.

You will hold a High School Diploma and valid Qatar GCC HGV licence, with additional airside credentials acquired after joining. This is a full-time role in the maintenance department at Hamad International Airport area.

Qualifications

• High School qualification is required.
• Valid Qatar driving licence or GCC HGV licence is required.
• Airside Vehicle Operation Permit to be obtained after employment.
• Airside Licence and Manoeuvring Area Driver Competency Licence to be obtained after employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty mechanical sweepers in airside and aircraft manoeuvring areas to ensure safe aircraft movements.
• Conduct daily pre-use and post-use inspections and report discrepancies.
• Operate heavy-duty water tankers and light-duty sweepers as needed.
• Transport staff/materials using company vehicles.
• Perform vehicle/equipment roadworthiness inspections per MT Guidelines.
• Notify supervisor of repairs to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain daily records of sweeping areas and vehicle usage.
• Respond to operational requests to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Perform other departmental duties as directed by the Head of Department.
