Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join the Procurement & Planning team. You will source and procure high-quality food ingredients, consumables, and packaging while ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and uninterrupted supply for operations.

You will build and manage a supplier base, negotiate terms, coordinate global shipments, and ensure adherence to HACCP and other standards. Strong Excel and ERP skills, plus 2–5 years in procurement, are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, or related field.
• 2–5 years in procurement, preferably in airline catering, food production or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Source and procure food ingredients, beverages, packaging, and catering supplies.
• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier base; negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
• Coordinate with local and international suppliers for timely deliveries and changes.
• Plan material requirements with planning and logistics to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and regulatory certifications.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes related to claims and payments.
• Manage procurement documents, Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists and certificates.
• Oversee ERP activities: item master data, supplier records, and purchase orders.
• Support RFQs with product specs, technical reports, and commercial evaluations.
