Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Level 2 – Engine Facility, to deliver off wing engine maintenance, borescope inspections, LRU build up and related tasks with strict compliance to QCAA and TPM procedures. You will handle engine receipt and dispatch inspections and support engine operation.

Requires Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 4+ years of experience, holds minimum 2 engine-type approvals, strong knowledge of maintenance manuals, MS Office and data integrity;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
• Holds minimum 2 engine type approvals or borescope approvals.
• Minimum of 5 years of job-related aircraft certifying experience.
• Borescope inspection and QEC/LRU build up experience across listed engine families.
• Ability to retrieve and read data from Technical Publications.
• Sound knowledge of air legislation.
• MS Office and Adobe Acrobat proficiency.
• Good understanding of Airbus and Boeing Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.

Responsibilities

• Exercising license/approval for scheduled/unscheduled BSIs to support QR engine operation.
• Provide specialized knowledge and ensure safe, effective maintenance.
• Perform engine receipt inspections, dispatch inspections, engine transportations, and LRU build-up.
• Maintain data accuracy and update handover data base per shift.
• Ensure Engine Release to Service authorization is current and compliant.
